Launchers, like the ones shown below, last forever.  They launch flare-cartridges.  A flare 'kit' consists of a launcher, some cartridges and a carry-pouch.  There are several models to choose from.

• Choose your launcher:
  • Single-shot launchers are the most portable
  • Triple-shot launchers are the most visible
     
• Choose your flare:
  • Red    is 'DISTRESS'
  • White is 'I AM HERE'
  • Green is 'SAFE NOW'
